Identity designed for the Washington Capitals for their first Winter Classic. We tried to envision what an earlier Capitals uniform might have looked liked. We looked at the history of professional hockey in DC for inspiration as well. The crest contains hints of the Washington monument, as well as three stars from the flag of D.C.
